Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi led the national observance of the 12th International Day of Yoga from Red Road in Kolkata today, participating in a session alongside thousands of yoga practitioners.
Extending greetings worldwide, Shri Modi highlighted June 21 as a day of significant collective celebration of humanity through yoga.
He praised Kolkata’s citizens for their contributions to cleanliness initiatives and acknowledged the state's rich spiritual heritage in relation to yoga.
