Akashvani inaugurated ‘Swar Prerna Veethika’ as part of its 90-year celebration on July 1, 2026. This photo gallery honors the enduring bond between Akashvani and India’s musicians.
The gallery, launched at Akashvani Rang Bhavan by Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia, features portraits of 20 eminent artists. It aims to inspire future generations and preserve the contributions of legendary figures.
Among the showcased artists are Bharat Ratna awardees like M.S. Subbulakshmi and Pt. Ravi Shankar. Akashvani plans to expand the gallery to include more artists and similar exhibitions in other locations.
