The Election Commission of India (ECI) organised the Second one-day Conference for Media and Communication Officers, bringing together Media Nodal Officers (MNOs), Social Media Nodal Officers (SMNOs), and District Media Nodal Officers from various states.
Chief Election Commissioner Shri Gyanesh Kumar cautioned against misinformation on social media and emphasized proactive engagement by officials. Election Commissioner Dr. Vivek Joshi highlighted the role of digital media in shaping public trust.
