The Bilateral Investment Agreement (BIA) between the Government of the Republic of India and the Government of the State of Israel, signed on 8th September 2025 in New Delhi, enters into force today, i.e., 04 July 2026.
The BIA focuses on strengthening bilateral economic relations and ensuring a secure investment climate. It protects investments while allowing for necessary sovereign policy space.
