The Department of Land Resources (DoLR), Ministry of Rural Development, organized a brainstorming meeting with the National Institute of Urban Affairs (NIUA) and the Department of Posts to explore synergies between the Unique Land Parcel Identification Number (ULPIN) and DIGIPIN.
Chaired by Shri Narendra Bhooshan, the meeting included senior officials and aimed to leverage the strengths of ULPIN, which provides unique identities to land parcels, and DIGIPIN, which enables precise geo-referencing.
This integration is expected to enhance interoperability and public service delivery, supporting the Government of India's Digital India vision.
