What happened: NFRA outreach programme for small and medium auditors in Ahmedabad
The National Financial Reporting Authority (NFRA) completed its sixth outreach programme in Ahmedabad. The outreach programme theme was “Creating a Better Financial Reporting Ecosystem”. NFRA reported that the outreach series commenced in 2025.
NFRA stated that the programme was inaugurated by Nitin Gupta, Chairperson, NFRA, and CA Prasanna Kumar D, President, Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). NFRA also stated that this outreach programme in Ahmedabad was held in collaboration with ICAI.
NFRA reported that the Ahmedabad outreach programme focused on small and medium auditors and aimed to support professional capacity, strengthen audit quality, and improve the quality of financial reporting.

NFRA stated that the Ahmedabad outreach programme was the second such outreach programme with ICAI. NFRA added that the first such outreach programme with ICAI was held at Pune in June 2026.
