On fugitives and extradition, Shah cited an increase in extradition efforts since 2019. He reported 274 fugitives extradited from 36 countries from 2019 to July 2026, and issuance of Red Corner Notices. Shah also stated that a process for issuing 182 Red Corner Notices in 2026 was completed through a new system named BHARATPOL, connecting more than 14 central agencies and state police.
On cyber crime, Shah highlighted the 1930 helpline and the implementation of new criminal laws up to the police station level. He also referred to Goa’s improved conviction rate after implementing Nayaya Sanhita and the three criminal laws.
