What happened (Facebook video removal and restoration)

Meta apologised after Meta briefly removed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Facebook video because an automated platform alert treated it as a “legal request.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi posted the video on 23 July, reassuring students that the administration was taking firm action on NEET exam paper leaks.

Meta said the automated moderation tool that generated the alert was meant to filter AI-generated content and that the alert was incorrect; Meta later restored the video and issued an apology.
