What happened
Russian officials said Ukrainian drone strikes overnight and on Saturday caused casualties across several Russian regions. The strikes killed nine people and wounded more than 80. Russian officials also said two major Wildberries warehouses in Kotovsk and Elektrostal caught fire, and an oil depot in Noginsk was struck.
Russian officials said the fires triggered evacuations near a maternity hospital and a residential building. The attacks were described as part of Kyiv’s continuing air campaign against energy and military targets inside Russia.
