The committee fixed October 15 as the deadline for submissions. The state government stated that the committee examines the legal, social, and administrative dimensions of UCC implementation. The committee is also studying models adopted by other states and incorporating feedback from legal experts and civil society. After reviewing submissions, the committee is expected to produce a comprehensive draft along with legislative and administrative recommendations.

The state government specified multiple submission channels, including an email address, a web portal, and postal submission to a committee office in Raipur.
