What happened (reported overnight into Saturday)
Israel’s military reported detaining more than 70 suspects across the occupied West Bank overnight into Saturday.
The detentions followed violence in which two Israeli soldiers and four Palestinians were reported killed.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated his government would demolish the home of a Palestinian family alleged to be involved.
Benjamin Netanyahu also stated the government would accelerate approvals for additional Israeli settlements in the area.
Israel’s military also reported a violent confrontation in the hilltop settlement of Susya in the southern West Bank, with Israelis and Palestinians reportedly throwing rocks.
