SEBI Chairman Tuhin Kanta Pandey said SEBI is reviewing how companies monitor and disclose the utilisation of funds raised through securities issues.
SEBI Chairman Pandey said SEBI’s goals include improving timely disclosures and simplifying compliance for issuers.
SEBI Chairman Pandey also stated that SEBI has proposals to clarify the framework governing related-party transactions so that the requirements are clear and workable for issuers while keeping investor safeguards.
SEBI Chairman Pandey added that SEBI is considering a framework to prevent duplication of fines when entities listed on multiple stock exchanges face overlapping penalties for the same non-compliance.
