What happened
Candidates who appeared for the Veterinary Officer recruitment exam in Karnataka protested at the Vidhana Soudha Police Station over alleged irregularities in the selection process. The complaint alleges large-scale manipulation in recruitment and has placed the Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) under fresh scrutiny.
The complaint also accuses the now-suspended KPSC chairman of benefiting his daughters. It further alleges that a candidate linked to a senior KPSC official reached the final list despite poor performance in the veterinary course and despite being a repeater.
