SC refuses to revoke Lalu Prasad’s bail in fodder scam cases

What happened
The Supreme Court declined to interfere with the bail granted to Lalu Prasad in the fodder scam cases. The Court said it would not be proper to disturb his liberty after six years.
The Court also asked the Jharkhand High Court to decide the pending criminal appeals against the suspension of his sentence within six months. The order came in Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) appeals challenging the High Court’s suspension orders.
