What happened: CCS review of West Asia conflict impacts and preparedness
Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired the fourth Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) meeting to review the evolving situation from the conflict in West Asia and to assess preparedness by multiple ministries to mitigate impacts on India.
The CCS review covered three linked preparedness areas: seafarer safety and welfare, continuity of petroleum-product and gas-related supplies, and continuity of fertilizer availability for the upcoming Rabi season.
