What happened
The Supreme Court declined to interfere with a High Court order that had upheld cancellation of major tenders issued by the Central Vigilance Commission. The Supreme Court said the matter belonged to the High Court and not the Supreme Court, so the High Court ruling remains in force and the challenged tenders remain cancelled.
