What happened
The Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD), under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, has reiterated the structure of its disability welfare programmes. The release covers assistive devices, awareness and rights promotion, early intervention for children, scholarships, skill development, and the Unique Disability ID system for persons with disabilities (PwDs).
