The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs has approved the construction of a 6-lane road tunnel for NH-148AE, connecting Dwarka Expressway with Nelson Mandela Marg in Vasant Kunj, Delhi. The project has a total length of 8.1 km and a total estimated cost of Rs. 6969.67 crore.
This initiative aims to enhance connectivity between West and South Delhi, benefiting areas such as Gurugram, Dwarka, and IGI Airport. The tunnel, designed to minimize surface disruption, will protect the Southern Ridge Forest.
