Amid devastating floods in Arunachal Pradesh, Union Minister for Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, alongside Union Minister Kiren Rijiju and Chief Minister Pema Khandu, conducted extensive aerial and ground inspections to assess damages.

During the visit, Shri Chouhan met affected families and assured them of assistance in rebuilding their lives. He emphasized that both the Central and State Governments stand with the people during this crisis.

The survey included aerial observations in Keyi Panyor district and direct interactions with villagers. He announced plans for a comprehensive damage assessment to facilitate effective support.

Immediate relief efforts are underway, providing food and essential supplies. New houses will be built for families who lost their homes, and agricultural losses will be compensated.
