The Prime Minister of the Republic of India and the Prime Minister of Japan acknowledged that Artificial Intelligence (AI) is an era-defining general-purpose technology transforming economies, societies, and security.
They recognized that current choices regarding AI will impact innovation, social welfare, and economic security.
India and Japan agreed to cooperate on international AI governance, develop safe and trustworthy AI supply chains, and support a human-centric AI ecosystem.
