Event Overview
Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Shri Amit Shah will attend the 5th Foundation Day Ceremony of the Ministry of Cooperation at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, on 6 July 2026.
The ceremony aligns with Prime Minister Modi's vision of 'Sahakar Se Samriddhi' and aims to improve transparency, technology, and empowerment in the cooperative sector.
Key Initiatives Proposed
Mr. Shah will inaugurate several major projects, including the transfer of 135 godowns and the opening of 85 new ones. The laying of the foundation stone for 47 grain storage godowns will also occur.
