The Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, in collaboration with the Development and Welfare Board for De-notified, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Communities (DWBD NC), is executing the Scheme for Economic Empowerment of DNTs (SEED). This Scheme aims to promote education, healthcare, entrepreneurship, and livelihood generation among Denotified, Nomadic, and Semi-Nomadic communities.
During 2025-26, over 1.10 lakh beneficiaries have been covered under various components of the Scheme. Financial assistance amounting to Rs. 53.06 Crores has been released to facilitate implementation.
