Poshan Tracker: Enabling Technology-Driven Nutrition Governance
POSHAN Abhiyaan is India’s flagship National Nutrition Mission launched on March 8, 2018, aimed at improving nutrition outcomes through convergence, technology, and community mobilization. It consolidated three nutrition-related schemes under Mission Poshan 2.0.
Poshan Tracker, launched in March 2021, serves as the primary governance tool for digital monitoring under POSHAN Abhiyaan, capturing various data points such as Anganwadi infrastructure and service delivery.
Key features include Aadhaar-based verification, a facial recognition system, and IT-enabled home visit scheduling, ensuring accurate growth monitoring and compliance.
