IICA inaugurates second batch of IICA Certified Arbitration Program (ICAP)
Inauguration of IICA's second batch of arbitration training program.

The Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA) recently organized the inaugural session of the second batch of the IICA Certified Arbitration Program (ICAP) virtually. This program is part of IICA's initiative under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs to create globally benchmarked arbitration professionals in India.
Shri Gyaneshwar Kumar Singh, Director-General & CEO of IICA, highlighted the need for standardization in the arbitration landscape, emphasizing enforceability and fairness in arbitral awards. He noted IICA's commitment to developing a robust Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) ecosystem through education and advocacy.
This program illustrates government efforts to improve arbitration mechanisms in India, relevant for governance and legal studies in the exam.
