Union Minister for Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, held a bilateral meeting with Afghanistan’s Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, H.E. Mawlawi Ataullah Omari, to review existing agricultural partnerships and explore new cooperation avenues.
Discussions covered areas including food security, seed systems, crop productivity, and irrigation. Afghanistan seeks India's expertise to enhance wheat productivity, requesting advanced seed technologies.
