CSIR-Central Road Research Institute (CSIR-CRRI) started its Platinum Jubilee celebrations on 16 July 2026 for the period 16 July 2026 to 16 July 2027. The Ministry of Science & Technology said the institute launched the first-phase implementation of indigenous road infrastructure technologies across 16 towns or locations in India.

The institute also announced several technology transfers and partnerships for wider field deployment of road engineering tools, pavement technologies, intelligent transportation systems, road safety technologies, and sustainable construction materials.
