The Department of Youth Affairs concluded the fourth Regional Chintan Shivir at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan, Lucknow, and used the platform to turn consultations into implementation-oriented action plans. The Shivir matters for UPSC because it links youth policy, grassroots governance, and State-specific delivery of flagship initiatives.
The two-day consultation was held under the theme “विकसित युवा बनाएगा विकसित भारत (Viksit Yuva for Viksit Bharat)”. The second day was centred on “Samadhaan Se Sankalp” and focused on converting recommendations from the previous day into strategies for stronger youth-centric governance and field implementation.
What happened
UPSC may frame questions on how youth-centric schemes such as MY Bharat and the Prime Minister Internship Scheme can improve participation, employability, and community mobilisation, and on why field-level feedback, State-specific implementation, and inter-departmental convergence matter for governance.
