What happened: BHAVYA Phase-I Round 1 proposal intake
The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (DPIIT) reported that the Bharat Audyogik Vikas Yojana (BHAVYA) received 87 proposals from various State and Union Territory governments in Phase-I, Round 1. Phase-I Round 1 remained open for receiving applications until 31 July 2026.
The government also reported a State-wise break-up of the 87 proposals. The government stated that West Bengal submitted no proposals in the first round.
