What happened
The Department-related Parliamentary Standing Committee on Health and Family Welfare, headed by Prof. Ram Gopal Yadav, M.P. (Rajya Sabha), presented three reports to both Houses of Parliament on 7 August 2026. The Committee adopted these reports on 6 August 2026.
175th report: Vector-borne diseases in North-East India
The Committee presented the 175th Report titled “A Study Of Vector-Borne Diseases In North-East India”. The 175th Report contains 29 recommendations on strengthening prevention, control and elimination of vector-borne diseases, particularly in the North-Eastern Region.
