The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, through an official statement in the Rajya Sabha, described measures to support sustainable growth of data centres in India. The stated focus is energy efficiency, clean electricity sourcing, and standards for measuring electricity use, carbon emissions, cooling efficiency and water use.
