What happened: Indian Army’s PNG Transition Webinar-2026 and the next conversion target
The Indian Army organised the “PNG Transition Webinar-2026” at Manekshaw Centre, Delhi Cantt to accelerate the transition to Piped Natural Gas (PNG) across feasible Army establishments. The webinar was used to bring multiple stakeholders together and align on policy, regulatory, technical, safety, and execution requirements for PNG deployment in Army sites.

The PNG Transition Webinar-2026 included stakeholders from the Indian Army and relevant external agencies and entities, including:
• Government agencies • Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) • Defence Estates Organisation • Military Engineer Services • City Gas Distribution (CGD) entities
