The National Commission for Women (NCW) is organizing an All-India Capacity Building Workshop on Gender-Responsive Governance in Faridabad on 7–8 September 2026. The event is aimed at strengthening the political capabilities of women representatives and improving their ability to contribute to governance and development in their respective states.

The workshop dates are September 7 to September 8, 2026.The programme is scheduled to start at 10:30 AM on September 7.The venue is Taj Surajkund Resort, Faridabad (Delhi-NCR).Lok Sabha Speaker Shri Om Birla will be the chief guest.More than 200 women legislators from 25 states will participate.NCW Chairperson Ms. Vijaya Rahatkar invited the Lok Sabha Speaker for the workshop through a courtesy visit.Haryana Chief Minister Shri Nayab Singh Saini has been invited as a special guest.
