What happened (extended deadlines for NMMSS 2026–27 on NSP)
The Ministry of Education extended the last date for scholarship applications by selected meritorious students for the National Means cum Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS) 2026–27 on the National Scholarship Portal (NSP). The NSP portal is open for submissions starting 1 June 2026, and the Ministry prescribed new deadlines for application submission and two verification stages.
