• Swapna Barman’s retirement timeline: Swapna Barman announced retirement from athletics on 31 July.
• Shivpal Singh: A NADA disciplinary panel imposed a 10-year suspension on Shivpal Singh for a second doping offence. NADA’s report named methandienone as the banned substance involved.
