What happened (court order directing a route to NTCA)
The Bombay High Court’s Nagpur Bench directed the petitioner to approach the National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA) regarding a mining-related matter in Gadchiroli, Maharashtra.
The Bombay High Court said NTCA is best placed to determine whether the project area is connected to the Tadoba–Indravati tiger corridor and whether the mining project requires wildlife clearance.
The Bombay High Court allowed withdrawal of the writ petition so the petitioner could submit a direct representation to NTCA raising the same grievances.
