FIDE scheduled the world chess championship match between reigning champion D. Gukesh and challenger Javokhir Sindarov in Geneva from November 25 to December 15.
FIDE stated that it will stage the match on neutral ground and bring the event to Geneva in Switzerland. FIDE described the event as the youngest world title match in history, with both players aged 20.
