What happened (Nutan’s allegation of gunshot injury)
A 32-year-old woman named Nutan alleged that she sustained “gunshot” injuries during the July 20 protests at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi. Nutan said her injury was severe and that she needed stitches. Nutan also referred to medical documentation from Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, describing trauma to her right ear by gunshot.
Nutan described the alleged spot at Jantar Mantar as near a fountain and a steel lion statue. Nutan alleged that she was shot from below. Nutan also claimed two people aimed guns at her while wearing blue uniforms and that the person involved was not wearing a name plate.
