A specially designated fast-track court handling the NEET-UG paper leak case deferred the first scheduled hearing because Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) counsel did not appear. The court had listed the bail applications of accused Dinesh Biwal and Vikas Biwal for hearing.
The judge recorded the reasons for postponing the bail matter. The judge noted that the State had no representation until a specified time, and defence counsel had other engagements. The court then set the next date for the bail proceedings.
