A fatal crash on the Wardha–Samruddhi Expressway in Maharashtra killed six people, including four members of the same family. A speeding truck hit a car from behind, pushed it forward, and both vehicles caught fire.
The victims were travelling from Nagpur to Chandrapur for a wedding. Police said the truck driver lost control, the car was dragged for some distance, and the resulting blaze left several bodies burnt beyond recognition.
Authorities registered a case and began investigating the driver, the vehicle, and the circumstances of the crash. Traffic on the expressway was disrupted, and rescue and fire teams were called to the scene.
