What happened

Congress alleged that Bihar police used “extreme brutality” against students during solidarity protests connected to an agitation at Jantar Mantar. Congress also alleged that Bihar police used AK-47 rifles against protesting youth.

Congress made these allegations at a press conference after Congress fact-finding teams submitted reports to Congress leadership about police action against students in different parts of Bihar.
