What happened: Bihar bandh arrests, clashes, and demands for release
Leader of the Opposition Tejashwi Yadav demanded the immediate release of students, opposition MLAs, and other protesters arrested during the Bihar bandh organised by AISA.
Tejashwi Yadav warned that if releases did not happen within 24 hours, the agitation would resume.

Police firing was reported in Siwan, and Tejashwi Yadav alleged police firing at students in Siwan and Jehanabad.
Tejashwi Yadav said Tej Pratap Yadav was arrested and sent to judicial custody for 14 days on charges of obstructing officials.
