A West Bengal court in Nadia issued an arrest warrant against Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra.

Police superintendent Atul V. Krishna Nagar stated that the arrest warrant was officially issued on Wednesday. The court action followed reports that Mahua Moitra did not appear in response to multiple summons.
