The public notice directs the following actions under the enforcement mechanism available to the Delhi government’s environment department and the competent authority:

The public notice prohibits the use and flying of kite-flying thread that is made of, or contains, sharp cutting components, including nylon or synthetic thread with harmful features. The notice also restricts sale and possession of such kite-flying thread and related materials.

The public notice states that implementation will be carried out through the responsible enforcement authorities named in the notice, and that the notice is available on the environment portal of NCT of Delhi.
