The Supreme Court declined to entertain an oral plea seeking direct cognisance of alleged derogatory remarks against Prophet Muhammed.
The Bench, comprised of Justices Ahsanuddin Amanullah and Sheel Nagu, stated it would not bypass the normal hierarchy and due process for filing complaints.
The judges noted that the matter raised was serious but reiterated that appropriate steps begin with filing a police complaint.
