What happened
Sharad Pawar of the NCP Sharadchandra Pawar faction and his MP daughter Supriya Sule met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi. The meeting gained political significance because it took place amid talk of possible unification between the two Nationalist Congress Party factions and speculation that the combined entity could join the ruling National Democratic Alliance.
After the meeting, Sharad Pawar said the discussion covered students’ demands related to the NEET paper leak, farmers’ problems, water management, and issues concerning the education sector.
