The Ram Temple trust in Ayodhya has said that the proposed first Chief Executive Officer’s responsibilities and powers will be decided by the trust itself. The statement also said that the CEO’s role will be to support the trust’s mandate, including financial arrangements and devotee experience, while the government will not interfere in the trust’s functioning.

A three-member panel has been formed to recommend candidates for the CEO post. The proposed CEO is described as an assistant-like role to the trust, without direct voting power for ex-officio directors.
