What the court held
The court said Hussain was part of an unlawful assembly driven by hostility toward Hindus. It held that the group had a common objective of rioting, looting, arson, and attacking members of the Hindu community, and that the members knew death could result from their actions.
According to the judgment, the mob surrounded Ankit Sharma, dragged him toward Chand Bagh Pulia, and subjected him to a severe and prolonged assault.
