What happened (BCI chairperson’s apology)
Bar Council of India chairperson Manan Kumar Mishra issued an Independence Day letter apologising to law students for any hurt caused by Bar Council of India statements or directives.

The Independence Day letter also emphasised that law students can form their own views and should not be pressured.
