What happened: MKCG probe into alleged WhatsApp circulation
The Maharaja Krishna Chandra Gajapati Medical College (MKCG) in Odisha launched a probe into allegations that photographs of a postgraduate medical exam question paper were circulated on WhatsApp.
MKCG formed a six-member committee to investigate alleged malpractice and asked the committee to submit findings within three days.

The controversy is linked to the general surgery theory examination for the 2023–26 MS/MD batch, which began on July 27.
The Odisha University of Health Sciences conducted the examination.
