What happened: Ministry of AYUSH assistance to Kerala under NAM, NMPB medicinal plants research support, and Ayurswasthya Yojana CoE approvals
The Ministry of AYUSH announced Government financial assistance for Kerala under the National AYUSH Mission (NAM) and Central Sector Scheme support linked to medicinal plants research implemented by the National Medicinal Plants Board (NMPB). The Ministry also approved two Ayurswasthya Yojana Centres of Excellence (CoE) projects in Kerala.
NAM for Kerala: annual State Annual Action Plans (SAAPs)
NAM supports States through annual State Annual Action Plans (SAAPs). For Kerala, the announced financial assistance is for strengthening AYUSH healthcare services as per the annual SAAP approval process under NAM Operational Guidelines.
